Etratech Asia-Pacific Receives ISO and TS Certifications
December 7, 2015 | Etratech Inc.Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Etratech Inc.'s China facility has been certified to the following standards: ISO/TS 16949 (Automotive Standard), ISO 13485 (Medical Standard), ISO 9001 (General Quality Management System), and ISO 14001 (EMS). Etratech is a global leader in the design, development and manufacture of advanced electronic controls and control systems for major multinational companies.
The audit was performed by BSI with zero findings. As a result, Etratech Asia-Pacific is now certified to the same rigorous standards as Etratech North America, headquartered in Burlington, Ontario.
These certifications come on the heels of Etratech Asia-Pacific being named Best 5-S Company by SGS in its 5-S Company Competition. 5-S, or "just in time manufacturing", is the first step towards Total Quality Management (TQM), according to SGS, and signifies Etratech's commitment to a well-organized workplace and a safer, more efficient, and more productive system.
"Etratech Asia-Pacific represents a facility where North American OEMs can feel confident that their products are being manufactured safely, securely and to the highest quality standards," says Etratech CEO Michael Desnoyers. "These certifications and awards are a reflection of the commitment of our Shenzhen team, who strive to deliver the best possible product – using only quality components and proven processes – to our global clients."
