Chemtronics Introduces Delta Precision Solvent Cleaners

Reading time ( words)

Chemtronics has introduced Delta Precision Solvents, powerful new cleaners that are ideal replacements for AK225 and other engineered cleaning solutions. Delta Precision Solvents are nonflammable, have outstanding cleaning performance, and fast, residue-free evaporation.

Delta Precision Solvents offer advantages of non-flammability, no ozone impact, and lower global warming, yet have the powerful cleaning performance expected from Chemtronics.

Products are available for a wide variety of applications:

Flux-Off® Delta™ Flux Remover is a powerful, nonflammable solvent that removes heavily encrusted and oxidized flux deposits. It penetrates residues quickly to remove all types of flux, production contaminants, dust, and oil, and then evaporates quickly leaving no residues.

Electro-Wash® Delta™ Cleaner Degreaser is an extra strength, nonflammable cleaner that removes all contaminants, and then evaporates quickly without residue. It has outstanding solvency for heavily oxidized hydrocarbon or silicone grease and oil residues. This powerful cleaner is also effective at removing most no-clean and rosin fluxes in circuit board rework and repair.

Pow-R-Wash™ Delta™ Electronics Contact Cleaner is a highly efficient and effective solvent cleaner for electrical and electronic components and assemblies. It is nonflammable, and compatible with most metals and plastics found in electronic assemblies. Pow-R-Wash Delta is safe on energized equipment, fast drying and has excellent solvency for oil, grease, dirt.

Choose from aerosol packaging for convenient benchtop cleaning or bulk liquid in gallons, five-gallons, and drum packaging for cold cleaning and ultrasonic cleaning.

Eric Martini, Chemtronics Product Manager stated: “Delta Precision Solvents are innovative technological breakthroughs. Customers are being forced to change their cleaning processes because of various regulations, but with Delta Precision Solvents, change is good… very good!”

I-Connect007 eBook Introduction: The Evolving NPI Process

08/25/2022 | I-Connect007 Editorial Team
Thanks to marketing and advances in technology, we have all come to expect that the electronic products we buy will be closely aligned to our individual and specific lifestyle or business requirements. This expected variability, in personal function and style, as well as regulatory compliance and a changing global economic landscape, has made designing and producing new products a challenging prospect. And, on top of the resulting “high-mix, low-volume” production cycles, increasingly more products contain electronic components in varying levels that heighten the complexity of design and manufacturing.

SMTAI 2021: Rob DiMatteo Turns Up the Heat at BTU

12/15/2021 | Nolan Johnson, I-Connect007
At SMTA International 2021, Nolan Johnson spoke with Rob DiMatteo of BTU International about the current shift in market drivers, pain points from customers, and what he expects to see in the near future. Chip shortages and port delays are just two of the challenges facing BTU’s customers. As general manager of BTU, DiMatteo wants his company to excel at customer service despite these challenges. He also previews a new flux management technology for keeping reflow ovens extremely clean, calling it a significant breakthrough.

Design to Production Flow: DFT and Test Coverage Using Industry 4.0 Principles to Produce Good Products

12/01/2021 | William Webb, ASTER Technologies
Achieving design for test (DFT) can be challenging for both design and test groups, as sometimes both expect that the other will be the one to manage DFT. The design and test groups might be in the same organization, or they could be an OEM vs. an EMS company. It works best if both the design and test groups are engaged in the process of DFT and trying to achieve the goal of the best test coverage and lowest rate of field returns.
